"I'll have to be loyal to the old ways and die out with them if needs must." says Mr. Fezziwig in Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol. Us too say the gang at the lake.

Are Liberals that Confused?
One does have to wonder at times if the liberals are just plain confused. The Fargo Forum had letters saying people did not grasp what the Tea Party movement was about. All they had were mental notes of violence, fed by the liberal media, of course. It occurs to us that it just could be that a group asking for smaller government and to be left alone is beyond the comprehension of those who only see growth of government in people’s lives as the whole meaning of the political universe. Is it so outside of their mental world that people might not want government services? Is it beyond them that the Founding Fathers thought a small government would be best? Of course they are fed by professional politicians who have as goals the growth of personal power and that can only be accomplished if they offer something. To offer is never to cut, so growth is the only goal of these parasites. The ultimate collapse of this liberal mindset is upon us. The impending and discussed drop in the credit rating of the United States and the potential bankruptcy of the nation under a tremendous debt may at some point finally hit liberals in the nose that they cannot spend money we do not have in such large amounts. Cutting may have to be their goal. But I think that would only confuse them.
